My favorite bed
First night in my bed since last week. I slept almost 9 hours but I woke up refreshed. I started to publish missing blog posts.
After an 1.5 hour, I finally got up to date with the blog.
I have to focus on publishing posts after midnight, or early in the morning.
These are the moments where there is the smallest chance to be interrupted. Just to avoid any delays in the future.
As I finished, I wanted to start working at the user profiles, brand goals and communication but I couldn’t. I procrastinated a little bit by watching youtube.
I knew this would happen. Getting back to the rhythm after breaking the pattern of “working” is always challenging, no matter how long you’ve been doing stuff.
After 40 minutes of entertaining (Gordon Ramsey throwing plates and calling people names), I forced myself to start doing the work.
That’s the only strategy I have for this kind of stuck.
I started lightly, by semi-productive things like reading facebook groups about UX and the business development. I wasn’t looking for anything specific. Just exploring.
Shift to the “second gear”
After an hour I felt like I’m in the “second gear” and I’m ready to do something really productive.
I started working on my company stuff (profiles, goals, value proposition canvas) and to my surprise, 3 hours have passed really quickly.
If I wouldn’t get a warm-up in a way of reading facebook, I couldn’t pull these 3 hours of productive work.
After this “work session” I planned things to eat for the next days and went to buy groceries.
When I came back, I felt like learning something. I started another course related to the UX and design.
End of the day
It was quite late already so I decided not to push myself more into anything just to avoid “overdoing” it on the first day of “getting back to the rhythm”.
I wrote the blog post and went into the shower. I get back with the need to watch a few more minutes of the video course I’ve just started today.
So I prepared my evening oatmeal and turn on the video.
End of the day
Not long after that I brushed my teeth and went to sleep.
Plan for #037

- Do a competitive audit (get inspired by my competitors)
- Finish Value proposition canvas
- Start changing communication
