Working while traveling
Total time: 23:17 (+ 7h of sleep from the next day)
On the road
First thing in the morning was finishing packing up. Just after the breakfast, I went to the train station to go to Warsaw. The team I work with have few things to consult.
But the main reason for my travel is to be a part of the Mentorship’s days and celebrate 5th birthday’s of the company I work with.
It’s a 2-day event where all mentors of courses are going to learn how to improve their work.
Working on a train
I like traveling by train. It’s comfortable and I can do things while getting to the destination. During 2.5h travel I wrote a few blog posts and publish ones that weren’t published.
I also prepared a presentation for the next week prelection about UX. Next week is going to be out of home too. It’s tiring but it’s going to be interesting.
Visiting the office
A few hours later I was in the office. We (the team I work on) had a quite productive meeting. Overall I hate meetings because most of the time they take too long and don’t yield too many results.
Meetings are over
After the meetings, I ran some errands on the blog posts. One hour later I went for a walk to find something good to eat.
Going to the hotel
After a good meal, I went to the hotel that I was going to stay for the next days. It wasn’t the best place I’ve been. After I unpacked my things, I went to the grocery to buy things for breakfast.
After I came back, my roommate at the hotel was there. Next few hours I spend talking to him and to my girlfriend via messenger.
I went to sleep and set up an alarm clock at 7am just to be ready to go to the office for the first day of Mentorship’s day
